Do you love science? Have you ever wondered what it was like in the Ice Age? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you won’t want to miss the Saint Louis Science Center’s Titans of the Ice Age film.
Titans of the Ice Age allows you to get a glimpse of the frozen landscapes of North America, Europe, and Asia as they may have been ten thousand years before modern civilization. The views are hauntingly beautiful and otherworldly, especially considering that it is an OMNIMAX film—which means you’ll feel as if you are actually there. Between the OMNIMAX technology and the computer-generated imagery, the era really comes to life with saber-toothed cats, giant sloths, and mammoths. Titans of the Ice Age will allow you to travel across glaciers and grasslands prowled by dire wolves, bears, and other creatures that are long since extinct. This film allows you to see what the dawn of man may have been like.
The film is playing daily at the Saint Louis Science Center—but only for a limited time—(closing June 30), so don’t miss your chance to see it. Tickets are $9 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. Members can use a voucher to get in for free.
