A man from Houston, Texas recently filed a lawsuit against a construction company, stating that the company’s negligence caused him to have his fingers amputated.
The accident occurred in November of last year. The man was delivering equipment to the construction company in a dump truck. As an employee helped the man unload the equipment, he slammed the tailgate of the truck down onto the man’s hand. The man’s fingers were amputated by the weight of the tailgate.
The man is seeking an undisclosed amount of money to pay for medical expenses and lost income.
