Honda Motor Co. has announced that 304, 000 vehicles will be recalled due to defective airbags that may inflate too much during a crash.
According to safety officials, the increased inflation may cause plastic or metal pieces to fly throughout the vehicle causing injury to those in the car. There have been 20 accidents that have experienced this problem and two deaths in the U.S.
The recall for this was originally made in 2008 and has been made again in 2009 and 2010. The recalled vehicles include the Civic, Accord, Pilot, Oddysey and CR-V that were made in 2001 and 2002.
