A Missouri man was pronounced dead after an accident at the Herzog plant when a piece of equipment fell onto his head.
According to county officials, the 40-year-0ld man was pronounced dead at the scene after equipment fell on him as he was working on a railcar.
Workers at the Herzog plant do maintenance and other work on railcar and also do construction and railroad business across the nation. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration was on the scene investigating the incident.
