A fire truck accident on Interstate 70 left on person dead.
According to officials with the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in St. Peters when a truck collided into the back of a Central County fire truck. The fire truck was stopped on the roadway with other emergency vehicles while helping with a previous accident.
The person in the pickup truck was killed in the collision. Five firefighters were in the truck at the time of the accident, but none of them were seriously injured. They were all transported to the local hospital in order to be examined.
