The family of a woman that was killed in a car accident has now filed awrongful death lawsuit against the cab driver that hit her and the cab company that the driver worked for.
According to officials, a 32-year-old woman was at the intersection of Des Peres Road and Dougherty Ferry when a taxi made a left turn and almost collided head-on with the woman.
The lawsuit was filed last week against the driver and the Independence Cab Inc. The driver was allegedly driving too fast for the conditions, did not keep a lookout on the road, and violated an electric signal. The woman’s car was pushed into the median and down an embankment as a result of the crash.
