The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a nationwide product recall of Build-A-Bear Workshop’s Love.Hugs.Peace lapel pins.
Build-A-Bear voluntarily recalled the product when high levels of lead were found in the surface paints on the pin. The level of lead that the pins contain violates the federal lead paint standards. Consumers can receive a $5 store coupon by returning their lapel pin to a Build-A-Bear store or by contacting Build-A-Bear for additional refund options.
If your child has been a victim of lead paint poisoning, the negligent company should be held responsible. Contact the St. Louis dangerous toy defect lawyers of the Finney Law Office by calling 314-646-0300 today.
