A three-minute home video has launched an investigation into abuse of a mentally ill elderly patient.
The event occurred at Edwards Group Home, which is a private home that assists six mentally ill women and the state funds the home $6,000 per patient. The woman that is shown in the video shoved a patient, sending her backward before she hit the ground.
The woman describes herself as a housekeeper and has declined comments about the allegations. State auditors are in the home at this time in order to investigate allegations.
