A man was killed after being involved in a workplace accident when he was caught in a machine while working at a recycling company.
The 43-year-old man was working at Resources Management’s plant when he became caught in a compactor while trying to fix a jam. The man was using his legs to unjam the paper machine when he injured his legs.
When emergency officials arrived at the scene the man was conscious and speaking to them. He was then transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
