Over 6,000 cartons of cilantro have been recalled after it was found that they may be contaminated with salmonella.
The recalled products are from Pacific International Marketing, a Salinas-based company, and were shipped to Missouri, New Jersey, California, Arizona, Massachusetts and South Carolina.
The products were placed on shelves some time between November 16 and December 10. No illnesses have been reported from the salmonella, but samples in the batch did test positive for it.
