A Missouri woman has now been charged of arson after a fire broke out at a Missouri nursing home.
According to local news, the 59-year-old woman allegedly set fire to a bed at the nursing home center while a 73-year-old woman was sleeping in it.
The woman is now facing arson charges after already being charged with felony elder abuse. She told police that she did use a lighter to start the fire, but stated that she never intended to hurt anyone. Luckily, the fire did not cause any serious injury.
