The family of a Missouri deejay has now filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the bar where the man worked after he was found unconscious in the bar and died less then a week later.
According to police in Columbia, the deejay was found unconscious on Aug. 21 in the doorway of the bar. Initial reports stated that the man fell on something, hit his head, and lost a large amount of blood.
The man’s family has stated that the injury occurred after an altercation with another person that worked at the bar. The man was celebrating his 46th birthday at the time. The wrongful death lawsuit claims that the bar and the bouncer were negligent in the incident.
