The sports team, the St. Louis Rams, have now rejected a proposal to make improvements to the Edward Jones Dome.
On Feb. 1, the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission announced the details of the improvement plan that is estimated to cost $124 million. The improvement plan was initiated in order to keep the Rams in St. Louis because the team can brake its lease in 2014 and potentially move to another city.
The Rams now have until May 1 in order to submit their own plans for renovation. The plan that was submitted by the CVC states that the Rams will have to pay 52 percent of the costs associated with the improvements, but it does include a new scoreboard and new club member seats.
