The man who started a trash fire in Southwest Missouri may be facing possible charges after the fire spread to three homes and caused significant damage.
The man’s home was one of the homes damaged in the fire after it went out of control while in the trash can. Small fires were still going the day after the fire from the blaze that covered nearly 700 acres and damaged three homes.
Luckily, three of the homes were vacant. The 55-year-old man was arrested, but later released. He told officials that an electrical wire caught on fire and cut access to water in the area.
