Two construction workers were recently injured in a St. Louis construction accident last week.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Grand Boulevard and Olive Street when a steel beam became loose from the building they were working on and fell on top of them.
The beam struck two of the workers’ shoulders and they were transported to the hospital afterward to be treated. It is suspected that leaking rainwater on the beam caused it to loosen.
