A study conducted by a car insurance rate comparison website says that drivers in Missouri are the second worst drivers in the U.S. According to the study, the only state with worse drivers than Missouri is Louisiana.
Statistics on states’ car accident fatalities, drunk driving, and traffic offenses were analyzed in the study. The website gathered their data from sources like the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, American Motorists Association, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
The operator of the website said of the states found to have the worst drivers, “Specifically drunk driving and careless driving were the two bigger areas that really pulled their ranking down.”
