A Louisiana man injured in a slip and fall accident has filed suit against his employer, Settoon Construction Inc. The crew worker was working on a boat in Franklin, Louisiana when he slipped on some oil that was spilled on the steps leading to the boat’s engine room.
According to the slip and fall lawsuit, Settoon Construction Inc. was negligent in failing to maintain safety on the vessel, failing to safeguard the vessel, failing to warn about the oil spilled in the stairwell, failing to operate the vessel in a safe manner, and more.
The company is also being accused of failing to properly train crew workers in safety.
